Why Join?
The Kona Cacao Association is seeking cacao growers, producers, enthusiasts and chefs to become members of the Kona Cacao Association to help create a recognizable brand for Hawaii Island Chocolate.
We know the importance of growers working together toward creating a structure to maintain the quality of cacao grown, marketed and shipped from Hawaii is important to the future growth of the fledging cacao industry. By joining together, the members can create a co-op that will help them leverage purchasing equipment, seeds, advertising, etc that will help everyone involved in the industry.
We also encourage membership to help us have a strong voice in the local and state legislature as it pertains to the agricultural laws and initiatives being created by our elected officials.
The investment for membership is $50 as we grow the membership to help focus on the needs and wants of the cacao industry so we can continue to work towards the short term and long term goals of the stake holders in the local cacao industry on our island.

We will be providing up-to-date news and information as it appears in the agricultural press and will provide educational information through blog posts on this website.
